I've been to Purple Onion plenty of times, as I am from Cabot, and so I'm glad that after all these years, Purple Onion is still as tasty as I remember! My usual is typically fish and chips, but I was really craving catfish, and so I opted for that and a side of Fried Okra instead. My roommate and boyfriend, however, had the more appetizing meals. The Chicken n Waffle was not only huge, but the perfect balance of sweet and savory, even with the syrup. The Toad n the Hole had some premium beef stacked in there, and while messy, extremely yummy! Anytime I bring someone new to Cabot, I always make sure to take them to the best local restaurant in town!
My husband and I went there for the first time tonight and were pleasantly surprised. We were quickly seated. Our waitress was at our table within 2 minutes of being seated. Mandy was very helpful and prompt. All the staff were helpful. The food was amazing! The atmosphere was great! 10/10 would recommend!
One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a long time. The food is good, service is great. I eat there as much as possible when in town. If you go to Cabot, AR. Eat at purple onion! Also, the bread pudding is awesome. Oh, and the ribeye!
Excellent fresh seafood, burgers, and more. Generous portions and great service.
